Submission Guidelines

Welcome to Artzage House — where literature, politics, and art comes together to question, reflect, and spark meaningful conversation. We’re excited to read your work!

Please read the guidelines below carefully before submitting to ensure a smooth and respectful editorial process.

Zero Edition Theme

“What does it mean to live, speak, and create in today’s India?”
We’re looking for stories, essays, art, and poems that are raw, relevant, radical, or quietly powerful.

What You Can Submit

We are accepting submissions in the following categories:

✍️ Poetry 

📝 Essays

📖 Short Stories

🎨 Art/Photography 

💭 Letters/Opinions

You can submit in English or Hindi. Other regional languages accepted with an English translation.

Who Can Submit

  • Open to everyone, regardless of age, background, or previous experience.

  • Debut writers and first-time artists are especially encouraged.

  • Especially encouraging voices from underrepresented regions and communities

Submission Fee

  • Free Submission: Includes editorial review and chance of publication

  • Premium Services:

    • Editorial feedback

    • Certificate of Publication

    • Priority consideration for feature on social media

    • Online profile promotion

Formatting Instructions

  • Use 12 pt font, 1.5 line spacing, and readable fonts (Times New Roman, Georgia, Garamond)

  • Do not use all caps or excessive formatting

  • Each piece should be in a separate document, unless submitting multiple poems

  • For visual submissions: file size limit is 10 MB total

  • Visual work must be your own, and unedited/raw files preferred

 

Rights, Credit & Compensation

  • You retain full copyright to your work

  • By submitting, you grant Artzage House non-exclusive digital rights to publish and promote your work

  • Contributors selected for the Zero Edition will receive:

    • ₹0.25 per word (for written pieces)

    • Social media credit + a digital Certificate of Publication

    • Feature in Artzage Zero Edition digital magazine

 

What We Don’t Accept

  • Plagiarized content (including unattributed AI-generated work)

  • Explicit hate speech, discriminatory, or abusive material

  • Work promoting misinformation or pseudoscience

  • Previously published work unless clearly disclosed

  • Submissions without a clear file name or contact info

Your personal information and submissions will never be sold or shared without consent.

Deadline & Timelines

  • Deadline to submit: August 31, 2025 (11:59 PM IST)

  • Selected contributors will be informed via email.

 

 

Editorial Ethics

  • Every piece is read by at least one editor

  • Work is evaluated on voice, impact, structure, theme alignment, and originality

  • Minor edits (spelling/formatting) may be made for publication; major edits will be discussed

  • We maintain zero bias toward paid vs free submissions in terms of quality review

We don’t have investors. We don’t run ads. We don’t sell out our creators.
We rely on people like you — readers, writers, rebels, and believers in art.
